The Kith

Lightning crackles within the stronghold of the Kith, a scientific organisation devoted to the study of energy outside the bounds of magic. Founded in Yorving during the "Time of Pyres", when persecution under the iron fist of the emperor and the Church was at its height in the Vale, the Kith are vehemently anti-magic. Instead, they believe that the intellect of mortals is itself more than sufficient to command the energy of life, concentrated as electricity. They are known as inventors, and are behind many recent innovations in the field of industry, including new types of engines and experimental "electrical networks" that power devices in Yorving's upper-class districts.
